Victor Manuelle Spicy New Single “Que Suenen Los Tambores”
Puerto Rican Latin music star Victor Manuelle recently released “Que Suenen Los Tambores”, a single for his next Salsa CD which is expected to come out in early 2015.
About “Que Suenen Los Tambores”
The drum-based catchy single “Que Suenen Los Tambores” was composed by Osmany Ernesto Espinosa, and was previously recorded (in 2013) by Cuban singer Laritza Bacallao.
Lyrically, the song brings positive encouragement to face and deal with life issues, and calls for the drums to bring happiness to help temporarily forget the headaches associated with those issues.
Both versions of the song, Bacallao’s as well as Victor’s, are heavily influenced by Brazilian rhythms mixed with other Latin pop elements which inject energy and dancing happiness to the music. Victor Manuelle has said that he liked the song because its positive and contagious, well suited for these times.
For me, “Que Suenen Los Tambores” has mostly dance value. The message, although positive, is simplistic, and the rhythm is geared towards dancing, due to its contagious Brazilian percussion and rhythm. Said otherwise, its a very commercial-success-formula-based Salsa-pop song. If someone knows how to make songs for commercial success, it’s Victor Manuelle, who is on top of all Latin music artists with most all-time top songs in Billboard charts.

This artist is developing in all aspects of His talents , interpreter , writer , producer , even in arranging.
He is maturing in His art and even in His writing . I disagree with many about his stardom.
I have most of his work because I am a salsa music collector not necessarily because he is a good as some proclaim , but I must admit that he is improving constantly in his skills as a Salsa Sonero . He for sure can improvise more than some who have been around for the last decade .
He is still very young and being coached by the best in his improvisational skills. He has a good track record with recording artist.
I believe that he can become a excellent producer and guarantee His future in all fields of the salsa genre. He is definitely very talented with much time to improve and expand. He certainly has recorded with some of the greats and continues to learn from the best in his field.
In my opinion He has a long way to go in order become a force to be reckoned with in salsa History. The new generation that does not know Salsa dura de la mata are his mayor fans.
