New Latino Music Talent: 3 Sudacas bring Brazilian Rock/Pop

I liked the nice Brazilian-influenced sound of another young Latin music group coming out of Berklee College of Music. 3 Sudacas is a group made of three students from Venezuela, Brazil, and Colombia that plays Brazilian Rock/Pop with Spanish vocals.

Berklee School of Music students Nella Rojas, Esther Rojas, and Eduardo Mercuri are 3 Sudacas.

I find their jazzy Brazilian style in “Tarde de Abril” with the lyrics in Spanish similar to the Latin Jazz style of Eliana Cuevas, which I recently reviewed her 2013 album “Espejos” here in Latino Music Café.

Here is their information right out of the Berklee Collage web site…

“3 Sudacas is three students at Berklee from Venezuela, Brazil, and Colombia performing traditional and unique compositions arranged for voice, percussion, mandolin, guitar, and bass. They have each had unique performance experiences and had the opportunity to work and perform together for the 2014 Latin Grammys with Alejandro Sanz.”

The 3 Sudacas are:

Nella Rojas, lead vocal & percussion
Esther Rojas, bass & BG vocal
Eduardo Mercuri, guitar & BG vocal

Here they are with the recent video of “Tarde de Abril”. Let me know if you like it!
